Our VisionBringing the World Together

  • What We Believe

    What We Believe

    • The economics of the current generation of airplanes have forced the airlines to stop serving smaller communities.
    • We are at a crossroads of technology where significantly more efficient electric propulsion offers the possibility of a significant reduction in direct operating cost and greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions.
    • We should take advantage of this monumental change to address the ever-reducing space/humanity in the cabin and address the increased risk of that reduced space to the capability of exiting the cabin in an emergency
  • Our Intentions

    Our Intentions

    • To develop an airplane that will provide an economic incentive for airlines to return to the smaller communities, away from big hubs and offer more point-to-point service
    • To design an airplane that will be the most efficient at onboard energy to flight energy conversion while minimizing greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions

To address the reduced space in airplane cabins that has led to the neglect of people with reduced mobility.

Our AircraftIntroducing the SY30J Pangea®

About the Aircraft

The AirCraft Company, a sustainable aviation company that was established to design, build, test, certify and produce the Pangea® family of hybrid-electric regional airplanes, is proud to introduce you to the SY30J Pangea® aircraft. The Entry Into Service (EIS) is planned for 2029.

Specifications

  • Baseline capacity: 30 pax
  • Electric first aircraft, designed to use hybrid-on-demand
  • Range extender compatible with 100% SAF or H2
  • Fly-by-wire
  • Single Pilot Operation (SPO) certification
  • Advanced health-monitoring
  • Designed for operation from small airfields with little ground support
  • All-weather operation with Enhanced Vision Systems (EVS) for access to airfields without precision navigation equipment

Mission Performance

  • 400 km zero-emission design range
  • 800+ km reduced emission design range

Field Performance

  • 3,500 feet takeoff distance under sea level standard day conditions
  • Worldwide, there are more than 5,550 runways with a length of 3,500 feet to 5,000 feet that are not currently used for regular commercial services as they are considered too short for jets. These would be available to the Pangea® family of hybrid-electric regional airplanes.
  • A NASA study shows that 90% of the US population lives within 17 miles of an airport with a runway of at least 3,500 feet.

The Power of Kansas

If you have ever driven through Kansas, you will have felt the big skies inviting you to soar.

Our sustainable aviation company is based in Wichita, Kansas. Wichita has been to home of great aviation pioneers since the early days of powered flight. It is widely considered the Air Capital of the World. It is the home of major aircraft manufacturers and hundreds of aviation suppliers. Kansas aviation workforce is second to none and its academia is unparalleled in aerospace.

The winds of Kansas provide half of the energy demand (wind energy) for the state and Kansas’ fields have the potential to produce large quantities of Sustainable Aviation Fuels (SAF, advanced biofuels).

Kansas will be the future home of sustainable aviation.
